There is a lot of guidance that your health care professional can offer you to stay safe while you are exercise, but you also have to take responsibility for keeping yourself safe.
Handmade Soap
Several archeological findings indicate that soap was being used as early as 2800 BC by the Babylonians, Phoenicians and Egyptians.
These days it goes almost without saying that what passes for soap bought from typical grocery stores is not soap at all but a detergent, made with synthetic ingredients and petrochemicals. It will be scented artificially and all-in-all, is something you should probably avoid.
Many handcrafted soapmakers have brought products to market that offer wonderful options for small amounts of money. Many are made with fine oils and scented with what are called essential oils.
The natural glycerine that occurs in the soapmaking process is removed from the soap and used in moisturisers and cosmetics where it draws a higher price. Handmade soaps which are made with vegetable oils, natural colours and pure essential oils, made using the cold process method retain this glycerine as well as the natural properties of the oils used.
The soap making process is quite straightforward – everything is blended together in a suitable vessel and then poured into molds where it will solidify into the desired shape.
Commercial soap often contains many ingredients that are bad for the environment and that will contribute to eutrophication.
You can either locate a small or medium sized manufacturer who makes handmade soap or you can learn how to make it yourself. The latter is in fact a lot easier than it sounds.
